Given: 4040 men can complete the work in 4848 days \newline Hence, Total work =40×48=1920=40 \times 48=1920 units.
1. 6464 men worked for x days \newline Work done =64×x=64x=64 \times x=64x units.
2. After x days, 3232 more men are added \newline Thus, the New workforce =64+32=96=64+32=96 men
Remaining work completed in 503\frac{50}{3} days \newline Work done =96×503=1600=96 \times \frac{50}{3}=1600 units.
