A man is facing towards the south. He then turn 45° anticlockwise direction, again turn 180° anticlockwise and then turn 225° clockwise direction. In which direction is facing now?

Solution

✅ Correct Option: 1

Net rotation =45∘+180∘= 45^\circ + 180^\circ anticlockwise minus 225∘225^\circ clockwise =225∘−225∘=0∘= 225^\circ - 225^\circ = 0^\circ.

The two anticlockwise turns cancel exactly against the clockwise turn, so he ends up facing his original direction, south.
