i've tried out all these and here's my honest review:
AB: great for analytics, variance in difficulty, no errors due to very active admins
IMS: great for worst case scenario in qa, not very reliable VA, must take if u r scoring consistently well in AB mocks and want to up the level in QA
Ace: overrated due to their initial market power, they are very consistent with the retaining of errors accross multiple years (of the same mock) and 0 responsiveness. only thing good abt it is its leaderboard topping which can give u a load of satisfaction, but ofc there r cheaters there to demotivate u
My strategy was to save money by not spending on full coachings and buying all of these. You do need 30+ mocks to minimize the effect of luck. Also lookout for All India Mocks, saved a ton of money by getting discounts cuz of them (they dole it out to print ur name at places, but just ignore them after exams lol). As for other options, don't even consider paying up for them.
Hey! Can you give a bit more information about the difference between IMS and Ace mocks? I've done 16 (15 + free) AB mocks so far and I was thinking of purchasing a test series from either of them once I'm done with AB mocks. While I am more inclined towards IMS because of harder QA, I would appreciate insights on both.
In case you need context about me or my scores: https://www.afterboards.in/forums/ipmat/mock-analysis/36WRDE_need_clarity_regarding_what_to_prioritize_now_cuet_or_ipmat
Ace has moderate level qs, some r tough some are easy, just like AB. But main issue is that one question per section that's either not formatted properly, taken up from sectionals which I already attempted, or simply incorrect which mess up the full attempt.
IMS is quite good when it comes to QA, their SA is notoriously difficult, I used to score 20-28 on avg there. MCQ was standard, used to score 50ish there, close to the real one. They had vid sols too. VA though wasn't good used to score 160s there and once even 180, even when my level was 140ish.
the starting mocks of Ab have veen given by 1500+ people though it also contains users who wrote last year and are now in college and those who are gonna write in 2025
I used to think that I am not comparing my marks with serious IPMAT aspirants but then I also wondered that if they were not serious why would they buy mocks? And true few candidates might purchase mocks attempt 2-3 and just let it be to prevent that we can attempt more of the end ones? That is what I think at least.
In the offline coaching I am enrolled at there are a lot of uninterested candidates who have joined because of their parents or at least that is what seems like to me they might be studying a lot at home I probably shouldnt judge and focus on my own thing.
I went off yapping sorry...
so i should just go with Ab na also i am worried about my ecas on the resume i have scored great in boards but dont have much to show under ecas any advice

Here is the solution to it
ecas not needed, they don't care
Think of it this way: If you only have 2026 attempts, you're having a VERY small pool of the real applicants, now, with the 2025 data added to it, you have a more realistic (or at least prudent) data point to compare yourself with!

One: AfterBoards gives you the option to actually understand where you stand among your aspirants because of features like these: https://www.afterboards.in/forums/afterboards/platform/Ia4Ewg_guide_is_my_ipmat_indore_mock_score_good
Two: You get deep-analytics, you can ANALYSE multiple mocks at once. You want to see all the wrong/unanswered questions of geometry in one-click out of your 25 attempted mocks? You can. This helps a LOT in revision.
Three: You get SWOT analytics. It goes through all your mocks and tells your strengths and weaknesses, that helps you identify what you need to study.
