There's a discussion thread for this mock: https://www.reddit.com/r/IPMATtards/comments/1jra2kr/afterboards_open_mock_discussion_official/
The objective of this mock isn't to show that you're good at Maths. It is to prepare you for an MCQ section that might be as hard as 2025 (cutoff was 28 marks = 7 questions).
The DILR was also very doable and IPMAT-isque. That is where you could have gotten ~70% of your cutoff score from (potentially). Many students don't take that seriously, this is a wake-up call for them.

Learning #2:
Sometimes, you need to think smart and use the options. Here's a very simple question from this same mock, we know that Jiraiya gets books, discards 2 books; and then displays 5/9th of that in the shop... so, just check the divisibility of the options!
Learning #3:
Use the calculator. I've seen students solve this in <60 seconds after reading the question while using the calculator present in the mock.
The key is in making sure you've made a proper timeline in your rough-paper while reading the question.
Verbal Ability:
I hope the following was a silly mistake:
I need to know more about how you've been studying so far. Please do become consistent with Daily RCs, topic tests and sectionals too (or at least something equivalent).
I have been doing QA and DI practice after learning the concept from my coaching. Tbh, never practiced VA. As you’ve said, I’ll be more consistent on the DailyRC part fs. My vocab part is comparatively weaker too, sometimes I don’t know the meaning of the word and skip easy questions from RC or obviously from vocab itself.
Also, I am aware of the ABC method but make mistake in filtering them. Some questions seem hard and I just leave them, and while checking the solutions it is always ‘acha aise tha kya, ye to aata tha’. I know it might sound weird but it is what it is ðŸ˜
I will be glad if you also check this post: https://www.afterboards.in/forums/general/off-topic/DcjXl9_need_some_serious_guidance
Makes sense. Can you share which resource you're using for QA and what lectures you've followed so far?
Regarding VA: Not to worry, can patch it up in the remaining time.
For QA, I learn the concept from my coaching and solve their practice exercise. Same for DILR.
I can solve them easily but face difficulty in the harder questions which are from previous year IPMAT or same level.
