Need clarity regarding what to prioritize now: CUET or IPMAT
For IPMAT context (not writing everything again lol): https://www.afterboards.in/forums/ipmat/mock-analysis/6edMiL_pushing_to_230240_and_beyond_stuck_at_200_5_right_now
CUET Context: I have opted for accounts, business studies, maths, GAT and english.
Accounts: book 1 done completely. Book 2 done theory-wise. Haven't touched book 3.
BST: 6 out of 12 chapters done.
Maths: Not sure how to quantify this. While I did revise theory of some chapters (vectors, integrals, AOI, AOD etc), it's honestly quite half assed.
English: Thinking to work more on vocab for CUET but apart from that, IPMAT has got it covered.
So far, I have given 1 accounts PYP, 2 BST PYP and 7 english PYP and ABmock 1.
- Accounts: Scored 159/250 (this was before I had started studying book 2).
- Business studies: Scored 179/250 and 171/250. Former one was surprisingly better even though I hadn't started revising BST during that point of time.
- English: 208, 238, 189, 194, 220, 216 and 181 in PYP and 220/250 in mock 1.
Obviously, CUET isn't looking as good.
Plan: With 107 days remaining, I'm thinking to treat IPMAT as the side chick and focus more on CUET since it has high cutoffs for top colleges. I had mentioned that I'll deep-dive topics (read IPMAT context) but the thing is, it's taking way too much time and the ROI isn't looking as good.
I'm thinking to decrease the gap interval in between mocks and prioritize exposure over perfection. Baaki, I haven't attempted any sectionals in a long time so I'm thinking to incorporate 1 VARC and 1 QA sectional daily (for exposure).
So, thoughts?

Went through your IPMAT post. You are pretty much self aware. Given you have only prepared for 4 months and could score ~200, it's commendable. I was scoring the same around this time. Given the time left you can push to a much better score!.
You have a pretty good shot at IPMAT.
Atp you just need to give more mocks for IPMAT + focus on strengthening your weak topics and get exposure to different type of questions (as you said).
For CUET - Given that you are a dropper, you might have forgotten many concepts but still 100 days are enough if you put in the work diligently. Your scores are pretty average right now. You need to improve them a lot.
Bst - read theory - ncert preferably.
Acc - practice questions
Well the above tips are pretty evident but these basics are the only things that work.
Maths - This will need much time and effort.
Watch one shots and practice questions, dedicate atleast 2 hours a day to maths.
Gat and eng shall be covered if you are preparing for IPMAT.
Managing both shouldn't be a big deal, given you are a dropper.
Crux - You can give mocks for IPMAT + cover a few topics you are struggling, won't take much time.
You can dedicate rest of your time to CUET prep.
A couple of off topic questions regarding SSCBS.
(1) I went through the curriculum of both BMS and BBA-FIA but once again, curriculum can only tell so much. I wanted to know what's the major difference (if any) between students pursuing the two courses. Maybe in terms of interest, workload and where they seem to be headed. Furthermore, is the BBA-FIA course binding to finance or is there any flexibility?
(2) I've heard that CBS follows a really "corporate style" timetable and that it's very hectic. As mentioned in my IPMAT post, I'm pursuing the AI/DS course and would like to finish it. So from that perspective, does CBS give the liberty to explore other skills or does college drain all the time?
(3) (Assuming you have relevant knowledge about this) Is there any thing(s) in any way that CBS has that IIM Indore (or any other IIM) doesn't? Be it in terms of skill building, peers, whatever.
BBA- FIA is more finance oriented, but that won't stop you from pursuing other career options later. If you are inclined more towards finance, pick BBA - FIA, tho you can explore different domains later.
If you can manage your time well, you can pursue whatever you want. There's no pressure, many of students in the college are pursuing - ACCA/ CFA /NISM and other courses. I am too engaged in many other activities except for academics and college. In fact, cbs gives more flexibility and liberty to explore stuff than many other colleges. We do have something or other going on ( presentations , workshops , society events and tasks, case competition) but it's pretty manageable. In last , you yourself will decide how many tasks you want to onboard on your time table, just set your priorities right.
Another thing being the societies here are very active, you get to learn a lot from them, be it cultural societies or academic societies. But not comparing here, since I am not aware about how societies work in IIM INDORE.
