I want to ask about the interview marks for ipmat indore exam.

I was a jee dropper and i didn't know about ipmat when I got to know I filled the form but couldn't clear because of a family tragedy. I cleared JIPMAT but because of same tragedy I could not join college.

I became a double dropper I have started preparing for ipmat indore again.

A senior has told me that for double droppers there is a strict limit of only 5 interview marks out of 35 and double droppers don't get selected.

I am really stressed right now so can you please clear my doubt if there is a limit of 5 marks or not so that I can continue my preparation of if there is a limit I focus on something else. I am EWS candidate.

I'm preparing for IPMAT 2027, and while Quants and VARC have a clear syllabus and question banks, I’m feeling a bit lost on how to systematically build General Awareness / GK for the Personal Interview.

I read somewhere that a person could spin video games as something that enhanced or supplemented their skills as a manager. Is this true?

I am currently in 12th and been thinking about Personal Interviews and Micro Presentations that is conducted during a admission process and I am bit uncertain about acing them. I am a decent public speaker, can deliver speeches and stuff if prepared beforehand and even express myself infront of a group of people I am familiar with on spot, but when I talk to someone superior or somone who I dont know I fumble, take pauses and even forget what I actually intended to say.

I tried speaking in camera, striking conversations with my family and friends but it has not shown any improvement while talking to a stranger or in any formal setting. I use a moderately good vocab while speaking to myself (yes, I am delulu) or while speaking in front of camera or mirror but when I comes to real deal, I am point blank.

I have some knowledge about personal finance and a avid watcher of series,movies and Formula 1 racing and thought of creating a platform to share my learning and experiences, would this actually help? Or something else will actually help to get more confident and better in such Interviews?

So I am a 2027 dropper, and I run an agency and we do $5K Mrr right now but my concern is that if I tell about my agency to the interviewers, would it be a positive or negative impression? I have heard from some other people that if the interviewers get to know that you are running abusiness alongside your studies, they might think that you are not interested in studies and you might not attend the classes or something like that. Also my 12th boards are a bit low. I only have 64% in my 12th boards(PCM). I would like to know more about your take on this

Im currently in 12th appearing for ipmat 2027, is there i can do anything for the interviews now like working on speech, gk, etc. or do i need to do everything after the exam?

I am an EWS category candidate aiming for the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) across all participating IIMs (Indore, Shillong, Ranchi, Amritsar, Rohtak, Jammu, Bodh Gaya) and IIFT.

Assuming I clear the sectional and overall cutoffs for IPMAT, I would like to evaluate my realistic chances of final conversion given my academic and extracurricular profile:

• 10th Standard: 80.4%
• 12th Standard: 84.6%
• Extracurricular Achievements: 5-time State Medalist in Swimming, Half Marathon Finisher.

Given that my academic scores are moderate, can my exceptional sports achievements and EWS category status compensate for my academic profile during the final selection?

My introduction and my preparation status -

I am preparing well for all the subjects of ipmat . I have done 1 chapters on all subjects and continuing with the same with alot of practice. Now my problem is that :

I know that current affairs and general awareness questions are asked in pi but , I don't know how to prepare for it . What are the habits that I should develop, how to prepare, what free sources to use , how to cover general awareness questions,how to cover current affairs etc .

Because I am doing self study this year . There is one of my friend who is in coaching. The coaching is giving them gk and current affairs lectures and notes . They are been given a whole book of notes for gk and current affairs in which they can solve questions and make notes . In my case , I know nothing about how to prepare for it, how can I utilise which resources etc

Please help me . (2028 aspirant)(No coaching for this year , just self study through free resources)

do i need extracurriculars in the interview like to get selceted or its chill ??
