i dont have any problem but in my varc sectional sometimes i score 100 and sometimes 49 thrice i scored above hundred and i dont understand how to approach my practice now.

who has the most study hours on aftb (including old aspirants)? like i've not seen anything above 343 hrs. whats the maxxxx

option 1: should I learn the basic concepts and do easy q of all the units...compleate the syllabus(concepts)

in short: pick a topic, reach a certain bare minimum level and then move on to next topic

option 2: or should I pick a topic and take it to a level at which i am able to solve all the question.

Answer : For QA, you need to focus more on understanding than solving 100 questions.

First watch a lecture and understand why the concept exists and what problem it solves.

Then start with easy questions. First solve as many easy questions. Easy ones are the building blocks for the hard ones. Don't jump to medium or hard for now.

First complete whole syllabus this way.

Trust me

Then in 2nd round.....revise basics and go for medium ones. these questions make your thinking process.

Complete medium questions of all chapter in this round.

And now you are ready for mocks. Give mocks. No need to solve LOD 3 questions (I'm assuming you solve Arun sharma)

For VA, I can't emphasize more on reading newspaper editorials, ideas page and front page.

Read aeon, medium essays. Learn vocabulary and idioms.

Question yourself why author has written this, am I getting the idea of this essay etc.

And you will score high.

Rest VA’s strategy should be very personalized. Develop your own after giving 10-15 sectionals and experimentation.

2. Which coaching to buy ?

Answer :

🔴 Give as many quality mocks as possible - No coaching can teach you everything. Major learning will happen from the questions which you couldn't answer in mocks and other tests.

🔴 Keep record of all sectional and mock scores in an excel file. You can make graphs of your scores too.

🔴 You are old and mature enough to answer these questions yourself : How to study ? , How many hours to study ? , Timetable ? , How to revise ? , How to be consistent and disciplined ? etc.

Hi Im an 11th grader commerce w maths. I got 96 in10th and I know I'm early here. But I'm highkey stressed for my career. Ive read a bit about ipmat and ipm and I like it mostly because of the sense of security and safety it can give me. Like the shit tonne of competition in cuet snd cat to pursue the same bba and mba as iim just scares me . So I like the iim option better.

But I dont know enough about the finance world yet to know if I even want an mba. So how do I get to know if I want and like an mba?

There are many people who are saying that if you are chasing a normal degree, if you are chasing something like a good college or a good job, it is a rat race. But it makes me think: if you are not just chasing degrees but doing anything else, is it something where we escape the rat race, or are we still inside it? If both are Rat race, then what isn't? and if it isn't, what it is?

So the RC stated that older siblings are more likely to be conservative and authoritarian and younger siblings are more likely to turn out rebellious and that make so much sense why orthodox Indian society would pass down their property/legacy to their first born sons .

Because their first born were more likely to be like them (conservative ) and the son part is just patriarchy , and the younger siblings would've/could've invoked change.
