Four students P, Q, R and S are playing Carrom. In this game, P makes a pair with R and Q makes a pair with S. S is the right of R whose face is towards west. Which direction is S facing ?

Solution

Correct Option: 4

In carrom, partners sit opposite each other. R faces west, so R's right side is north. S is on R's right, so S is positioned at north side of the board. Since S is Q's partner, S faces the opposite of where S is positioned, which means S faces south (toward the board center, opposite of north side).
