A teacher keeps data on student tabulated by performance and Gender of the Student. The data is on a computer disc but un fortunately some of it is lost due to technical touch . Only the following data could be recovered:

An expert commille was formed which decide that the following fact were self evident: Half of student's were ether excellent or good. 40% of the student were females. One-third of the male student were average.

What is the proportion of male Student under good category?

Total =80=80, males =48=48. Male average =13×48=16=\frac{1}{3}\times48=16, male excellent =10=10, so male good =481610=22=48-16-10=22. Proportion of males under good =22300.73=\frac{22}{30}\approx0.73.
