The two statements of the question followed by two conclusions I and II. Read the conclusion and decide most suitable answer.

Statement : No red is black.

Some black are yellow.

Conclusions :

I. No yellow is red.

II. All red being yellow is a possibility.

Solution

Correct Option: 2

No red is black; some black are yellow. From these, we cannot definitively conclude no yellow is red - some yellow may or may not be red.

However, it is possible that all red could be yellow since reds are not black, and some blacks are yellow (the yellow outside black could include all reds).

Only II follows as a possibility.
