Find the missing term in the series given below: 6,8,4,6,3,5,?,912,6,8,4,6,3,5, ?, \frac{9}{12}, \ldots

Solution

Correct Option: 3

The series is +2+2 and then ÷2\div2

6+2=8,6+2=8, and then 8÷2=48\div2=4

4+2=6,4+2=6, and then 6÷2=36\div2=3

3+2=5,3+2=5, and then the next term shall be 52\frac{5}{2}

This same pattern doesn't make sense for 912,\frac{9}{12}, it should be 92\frac{9}{2} instead. A mistake on NTA's part, perhaps.
