I think understanding varc ain't about only to crack exam but also about your future because english is mandatory. I totally agree with bhavesh sir that va just not study exactly like qa we to design our environment in English,take content in English,read effectively not just completing the because effective reading helps you a lot in varc

Hello bhavesh bhaiya (hoping to get a reply) I am a dropper(full) and preparing for ipmat 2026 . I am scoring around 50-60 in qa MCQ ,36-44 in qa sa and in VA i am scoring around 80 only (but not very consistently) I don't want to quit my preparation so please give me some useful tips so that I can reach to minimum 125(also give me tips for quants too because I didn't have covered geometry till now)
In same situation...even after giving 85+ sectionals of va
i can not improve my score in varc ( my varc score in daily sectional test is always between 40-75 ) tips please

Start by talking/thinking/typing/texting in English.
You can't study VA the same was as you study QA (just practicing a lot of questions until our brain learns the algorithm of the QA question i.e. becomes akin to muscle memory).
To become better at VA, you need to make your entire life about English.
Right now, solving more sectionals or RCs alone won't increase your marks. VA is mainly about analysing and contrasing your thought process. What did you think otherwise (and how was it different from the solution?).

10% = Your theory (grammar, vocabulary, idioms/phrasal verbs)
10% = You solving questions (and learning from the solutions)
80% = Contrasting your thought process and recognising why your inference/extrapolation or the crux of what you deciphered does NOT match what the author is trying to say: half of IPMAT is just comprehension-based understanding... and for that you need to follow the 5-why analysis consistently for a couple of months.
If you do not do the 5-why analysis, do not write summaries of the Daily RCs, do not try to learn such that you treat English as a language (think/talk/text/type in English), you won't improve.
Plus, this improvement is a very gradual process. Don't lose hope easily either!
