New unknowns will keep appearing (that's the nature of the exam). You'll never ever "complete" a chapter. You'll only tend closer to completion. It is the default nature to make silly mistakes. No one is immune to that. With continuous practice across months, you'll see a decline in such silly mistakes.
This is a process that takes time too (unless you have an extremely good base).
The mock-to-sectional score gap (100 in VA sectionals vs 60-80 in mocks) is stamina issues, not just knowledge gaps. Writing VA (concentrating during those hard RCs) after 80 mins of gruelling math is a lot more stressful (and our brain is a little less efficient).

Being a full dropper (pcb in 12th), I really don’t have anyone to tell me whether I’m on the right track, so these silly mistakes sometimes feel demotivating. But I also know that my only real hope is consistency and practice — so i will try to stick to that.
