Ok so my QA is not very good as you can see. I regularly score very poorly in the QA sections of IPMAT Indore. I have also posted my VA performance to get some feedback, if i manage to just barely scrape past QA sectional cutoffs, can my VA save my overall score and pull my ATS up so that I'm not only shortlisted for a PI but also have a shot at converting a seat, General Male btw.

Bro idk agar i can help u by giving u tips because mera ek sort of english sense hai. dekh ke bas answer mere dimaag me aa jata hai i dont use any techniques.
But mai bolunga ki agar koi vocab ya fir idioms ke questions aate hai, if you dont know the exact meaning or answer, dont guess, it is almost never right for me at least. RCs ke liye always eliminate extreme options jisme scope bahut narrow ho jata hai. If they contain words like "must" or "entirely", that is not the answer.
Take your time with RCs, read as fast as you can while retaining information. Absolutely do not skim RCs, that is a huge blunder.
Idk how to help you with questions that ask the author's tone, again, i dont use any techniques to detect his/her tone, it's just obvious when reading it.
Also if you write data points down to remember the contents of an RC, I'd say don't do that because it eats away at your time and isn't necessary past a certain point. Agar tum exam likh rhe ho toh why would you write what is already written on your screen physically, it makes no sense.

tbh I write down points during rc (my accuracy is good only because of this technique )
my avg time is around 6mins
with avg score being 19/24
and coversational analysis is def one of my strenghts
anyways I will find my own techniques for rest of the VA section

Like agar barely cutoff honge to about 45ish marks in Qa and Va mai 150 bhi aye to 195-200 tak hi pahochoge
Phir interview acha nikalna hoga
And haa mocks de ke usmeVa score dekho
Agar abhi sectional start kare hai to easy ho honge starting mai mere bhi thode ache aate the ( itne ache nahi)

Mera bas ye hi concern hai ki as of now QA ke questions dekh ke bhai dimaag khaali ho jata hai, literally ye bhi nhi pata lagta ki topic kaunsa hai, let alone solving the question. Pehle se thode improve hue hai scores mere QA me, pehle toh MCQ me -4 se -1 aa rhe the. Abhi atleast around 8 hai so that's progress I guess. SA me thoda static ho chuka hai score, around 8 and 12. Idk ek saal me agar mai isko utna improve kr skta hu, 10 months bache hai vaise toh ab

I read the whole post. I was already usnig the strat ur describing for SA without even realizing it. Also just wanted to ask, after i solve the questions i can, in the questions that i can't, should i just spam the answer as 1 where it seems feasible.
