Someone please tell me how should I be approaching number series questions? I try to solve more and more questions but since I don't know how to start checking patterns, the questions become very time consuming.

And honestly, improvement mostly comes from analysing patterns after solving, not just doing tons of random questions. After enough exposure, your brain starts recognizing common structures automatically.
from where should i be practicing then? becuase afterboards doesnt have a definite set for that so i just solve from youtube videoes and some practise sheets that i have
