Need help in planning and essentials about ipmat

Hey guys,

I recently started my IPMAT 2027 prep in October 2025 and began with Quant, starting from Number Systems. I started watching Rodha’s YouTube playlist, but after 3–4 videos, I felt it was a bit too advanced and the teaching style did not click with me.

Then I checked out MBA Pathshala and Takshzilla, and I found Nishant Sir from Takshzilla much easier to follow. I have now switched to his lectures and got access to the course.

I am a bit confused and need some advice:

Is Takshzilla good enough for IPMAT Quant prep?

Are the AfterBoards video lectures alone enough or do I need extra material?

What should be my overall Quant strategy at this stage since I have just started?

After finishing Takshzilla videos, should I also solve Arun Sharma’s Quantitative Aptitude (CAT) book?

When is the right time to buy and start taking mocks like AfterBoots mocks?

Would love to hear from people currently preparing or who have already gone through this process.
