The concept is similar. I've seen various questions from JEE videos (and high-school math) of Arvind Kalia sir (P&C, M&D, Application of Trigonometry) that have been tested in IPMAT Indore.

JIPMAT has seen direct copy-paste questions from SSC (and alike) exams.
