This is something that we have planned since the first year of inception. We're an educational platform and the only thing we care about is your productivity.

Here is why we can't use WhatsApp:

Privacy issues, we don't want phone numbers of students to be available to everyone. It has been pretty common for people to reach out to each other without etiquette (especially to girls).
We want students to find the answer right below their chat, not between 100s of messages.
We want to enable doubt solving from our end and that isn't possible on WhatsApp as there is no way to keep a track of anwered and unanswered doubts.

We have spent a lot of resources building this, and we know how much more effective this is. I say it again, our purpose and aim is to make you productive and make you study as much as you can.

There are a few things that are still missing on this forum, most importantly, notifications but shortly that will also be integrated on the dashboard and it shouldn't be an issue.
