The ratio of the number of female students in institute Z to the number of female students in institute V is:

Solution

✅ Correct Option: 4

Total students =5500= 5500, so 1%=551\% = 55 students.

Pie chart gives the total students (male + female) of each institute. Radar graph gives only the male students.

Institute Z:

Total =20×55=1100= 20 \times 55 = 1100

Male =700= 700

Female =1100−700=400= 1100 - 700 = 400

Institute V:

Total =8×55=440= 8 \times 55 = 440

Male =200= 200

Female =440−200=240= 440 - 200 = 240

Ratio =400:240= 400 : 240

=5:3= 5 : 3

Therefore, the required ratio is 5:35 : 3.
