Per Drop More Crop is a component of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, approved in July 2015. It promotes micro-irrigation (drip and sprinkler) to raise water-use efficiency at farm level. Its implementation therefore began in the financial year 2015-16.
