It provides one-time health cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to poor and vulnerable sections of the population.

It includes 3 days of pre-hospitalization and 15 days of post-hospitalization expenses.

There is no cap on family size, age or gender to ensure all members of the beneficiary families are covered.

The benefits are portable across the country.
