My biggest problems in RCs are those questions which go like, "which of the following will most likely weaken/strengthen the argument made by the author?" or " which of the following statements is the author most likely going to agree/disagree with?". I get confused on how to approach these type of questions. I also find it difficult to identify if those options strengthen/weaken etc. Can someone help me?

Here, you're not answering with YOUR opinion. You're answering with the author's.
So the question becomes: does this statement align with the author's stated stance/tone, or does it contradict it?
Go back to the passage and ask if the author actually committed to this?
The 5-why analysis will help you here. For every wrong answer, ask why you picked it and why the right one was right, 5 times, till you reach the root.
Try this on a few!!
