What to do after 5 why analysis

When I do the 5 Why analysis in an Rc, I find that most of the wrong answers are because I misunderstood a particular paragraph, or maybe 2-3 line... what should I do to improve this?

You may try this:

  1. Pause after every paragraph. Summarise its main idea in one line.
  2. During analysis, locate the 2–3 lines you misinterpreted and rewrite their meaning in simpler language.
  3. Track the type of error - Was it a missed contrast, an unfamiliar word, a confusing sentence, or a wrong inference? - Maintain an error log.
  4. For a few days, prioritise understanding over speed. Gradually increase your pace as comprehension improves.
  5. Also, After analysing it, solve the question again and explain why the correct option fits the passage and why your choice doesn't.

Most importantly: Don't just read the explanation and move on. Your goal is to understand why you interpreted those lines incorrectly. :)

Most of the time, it's because of a wrong inference

Yes, so focus on why you're making that inference. Are you going beyond what the passage says, or missing a subtle clue? While analysing each wrong answer, identify the exact line that supports the correct inference and check why your interpretation differs. With practice, you'll learn to distinguish between a logical inference and an assumption.
