i thought binomial coefficient is different from actual coefficent of the general term in binomial term. am i missing smtg

Binomial coefficient is like 50C1 50C2 and proper coefficients are the multiplication of binomial coefficient and the coefficients inside the bracket.
For example let's say we have (2x+1)^4 the first binomial coefficient is 4C0 and second one is 4C1. However first one coefficient is 4C0 x 2^4 x 1 and second coefficient is 4C1 x 2^3 x 1. Understood?
