Free Mock Analysis
Heyy So I am a 12th Commerce with Applied Maths (CBSE)
Guys so I recently purchased AB but i have been studying for IPMAT from another coaching since past 2 years and recently i also gave IIMB-UG in which I scored 73 and 75.62%ile, I know it is shitty, after that i haven't touched IPMAT at all, basically VA is my strength due to the face I was in ICSE untill 10th grade, in my coaching (Supergrads) I used to score 110-130 constantly, right now I am out of practice since last one month, I would love if you guys help me out and help me out.
The assurance i can give you is that after 2-3 mocks i will be back on track to my 110-130s in VA (hopefully) the problem is SA, on a good day i barely score 28-32, and even in MCQs I score almost like 30-40s max.
Right now the plan is to give one sectional daily and complete the daily RC and the weekly DILR till my boards are over and give a mock once a week or whenever I can.
I have seen people giving advice out there on the forum, I hope i get it too
Thank you guys <3

VA drops do happen but its not cuz of losing touch with VA, english isnt sth you would lose touch in just one month of not practicing, its probably cuz of distractions during mocks. Also its highly likely you were scoring high in SG mocks cuz they r easy, speaking from personal experience.
But yeah only thing you can do now is to spam VA sectionals, not from आंडू पांडू places but reliable ones with realistic difficulty levels.
Once you get back to 110-130s: https://www.reddit.com/r/IPMATtards/comments/1q4uh2p/comment/nxzdf6j/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Your MCQ is very good, given the difficulty of the mock u attempted. But u say u score 30-40 max normally which should ideally be the minimum. If u show ur SWOT I may be able to identify what u r struggling with. Share that of SA and MCQ once separately and once together, if possible.
Heyy, Thank you Shinjan for replying, Okay i got your point of being distracted during mocks maybe i wasn't able to focus cause it's was 1:00 am hahaa, and yes i am planning to start VA sectionals and sectionals in general
Mainly i scored in MCQ because of the DILR Section, My DILR in general is strong
I really do need to revise QA topics so can you also suggest how do i go ahead with that, along side keeping my boards as my priority?
hmm if u take mocks at 1 am consider it a waste of a mock unless u r training against external influences like sleepiness. also since u took only one mock and the swot is based on that, its difficult to analyze it. take a few more and try to get atleast the easy questions correct, watch the AB capsules to fill conceptual gaps. I would like to advise u to finish the qa syllabus again but u will have 2-3 months only after ur boards, you should be attempting sectionals and mocks then WITH analysis, one mock per 2 days & 1 sectional of either SA or MCQ and another of VA in the gap days. go through the explanations of all easy and mid problems so that u can solve them from scratch, put them on gpt to ask it to generate different variants of those problems or just tweaking the numbers and do not move on unless u can solve atleast 2 such problems.
Okay got it, and in terms of doing the QA syllabus again? What does that mean as in should I just watch AB capsules videos and keep attempting mocks and sectionals and only doing the concepts where i am weak, or should I rewatch my lectures from Supergrads which is time consuming and make notes or solve their GMB(these are difficult modules) and I even have Sureshot books(which are Indore specific and a bit more difficult)
I will attempt mocks on regular basis and upload it here and i planned to attempt 1 Sectional everyday like VA then SA and MCQ and every 4th day a mock
I am going a bit easy right now as I still have my preboards going on and they will till 3rd of Feb
Still I would like your advice
Subjects for school
Acc English Banking- Strong
Economics (Indian Economic development)- is okaish but Marco is great
Applied maths- My school doesn't teach me i took it on my own so it's a self study subject and yes i am doing good but it's a bit difficult to manage
Yeah use all the resources u have paid for - particularly the question banks, if u r struggling with any topic, getting a string of mistakes without being able to understand explanations then watch lecs of those few topics. Also, as far as I recall, though their GMB was decent for revision (these stuff r mostly white-labelled from TestBook, ElitesGrid and all which r all good sources of CAT banks), their lecs sucked hard, one guy just came wrote a formula and told trust me bro, atleast from what I saw on their YT revision series. So for lecs, though I won't suggest any new coaching (Takshzilla would be great if u had 3 months more), try to follow these creators on YT: Sameer Chincholikar, Arvind Kalia, Nishant Vohra, ElitesGrid etc.
