Why do you wish to go in for a management education through Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and what are your career plans?
Should we be very abstract or very objective for this question. Like give me an answer not necessarily to this question but something which shows the levxel of abstractness.
Also mail iim shillong to open application form , I didn't fill because of payment issues 😔

jk jk i was messing around there, relax bud, gg
your portal issue got fixed?
yess! but not by IIM Indore -- this really kind man in a common whatsapp group faced the same issue and recommended that i reduce my file sizes to less than 20kb. its crazy how IIM Indore couldnt tell me that even after multiple calls, emails, and queries raised.
Interviews can be scary. It is not. At the end of the day, they're just Indian uncles and aunties: it's like talking to your parents' friends.

Okay, as a fellow aspirant, what I wrote was something along the lines of really authentic and conversational. I avoided using AI because it doesn't let our brains do the hard work, and we often miss the smaller details of the SOP even if we make changes to it. This could prove to be problematic if a penlists picks up on that one details that AI mentioned for you but you were not well read upon.
I wrote a SOP of 385 words and I believe that it is fine. I was straightforward because remember -- this is something that they're going to read right before you walk into the room, so that means you need to align with their imagination of the kid that is walking into the room after they've read the SOP. Also, if the SOP is too fancy, and you are unable to back it up by your personality, then its going to be a bad thing. Ofcourse i dont know for sure since im a fellow aspirant, but yes try to be objective and personal. As personal as you can be professionally, but it is not necessary to dictate stories that led you to this moment. You could, however, explain instances in a professional or a personal setting but it is not necessary to storytell just to make it seem personal.
Your answer should have elements completely thought of by you, and its author should be you. When you've authored your whole life till this partcular moment of pride where you are invited for a PI-shortlist at IIM Indore, then why shouldn't you author the SOP completely yourself? (With regards to you asking "Like give me an answer not necessarily to this question but something which shows the levxel of abstractness"
At the end, it is just one part of your profile, and you as a person can easily overshadow any shortcoming that you have. Please do not obsess too much over writing it perfectly because perfection means a balance of virtues and flaws.
ALL THE BEST DUDE!
See you at Indore!
(On a side note: Is your first preference Delhi?)
No mumbai; Thanks for the paragraph🫂
aw man that's my second pref.
