Is it a wise choice to apply for rohtak as I don't have any kind of ECA 🤔🤔🤔 and they generally focus on that

Interviews can be scary. It is not. At the end of the day, they're just Indian uncles and aunties: it's like talking to your parents' friends.

Yeh kisne bola?
ACEIPM ke podcast pe kisi student ne bola tha ki ROHTAK want people who have done something extra other than their academics
Do they ask in the interview? Yes.
Do they reject you if you have nothing? No.
A vast majority of the batch have mainly their academics to show for themselves. Don't let students misconstrue their limited experience into giving such 'conclusive' statements which have no substance to it. Most people think that their school-level olympiad rank is 'ECA' even though it's not of much (or rather any) significance.
Your main objective is to handle all the academic questions, the extempore and the general-awareness questions. You can always talk about hobbies and other interests (and this has to come naturally). Some student was very interested in economics and knew more than the average 12th grader, he didn't have a single ECA, he still got admission.
Podcasts are going to give a lot of varying opinions. Take it with a grain of salt. Some kid without any ECA who might have gotten in will give a different story, some kid who "thinks" they got in because of their ECA will yap a different story.
Kids are the worst judges of their own interview.
Fine 👍👍👍👍 I'll apply for Rohtak also
they assume anything atp
