All those who have cleared IPMAT exam or given IIM banglore UG exam- your reply are warmly welcomed :)
Kindly suggest that how can a 2027 aspirant could make a good SOP. How can we shape our current interest and activities which helps us to make our SOP better and help us further in interview.
I have also read several IIM interview transcript recently and especially the recent ones of IIM UG (BTW all were great), Honestly I found that if I make currently a SOP of mine, I would stand nowhere near them.
I have considerable time after my 11th, so I could do variety of things to make a great SOP, so all of you please suggest me, if you want to ask me any specific question im eager to answer them in comments, but need your help in making a good SOP and giving an ideal IPMAT interview.

Interviews can be scary. It is not. At the end of the day, they're just Indian uncles and aunties: it's like talking to your parents' friends.

I did this mistake in 11th of just getting all kinds of weird certificates thinking they 'add to my profile'. To be honest, don't force any extracurricular activities or any other activity just for the sake of adding a pointer to your SoP. It's a waste of time. You can simply write about what your interests are, like for me I'm a bit of a history and geopolitics geek so I simply expanded on that and thats majorly what they asked me about.
People think your interests need to be something extraordinary and niche to stand out but what I believe matters more is how passionate you are about that interest. It can be something as basic as video gaming and its completely okay.

I am also honestly interested in History and Geopolitics similar as you and I have considerable knowledge of both of these. But I am confused about what shall I add to my achievments,as you told that randomly gaining certificate does not help. So what shall I add in it.
Well whatever interest it is that you have, try and find competitions/events in that domain. I did loads of debate competitions and a couple MUNs for example. If you have a sport, thats also great - I used to play volleyball. I wasn't THAT knowledged in history so I didn't go to the history quiz bowls that happen but those are also great, you can find quiz bowls for most topics.
Also experimenting is totally recommended, you don't need to have everything figured out right now. I did an acting competition like 2 months ago and found out I was actually quite good at it and really liked doing it. Just keep tabs on any nearby events that happen, and go and participate in any you have the time and effort for.
