Unsure if this is the right thing but we learnt the CAGR formula in college:
CAGR=[(Final ValueInitial Value)1n−1]×100\text{CAGR} = \left[ \left( \frac{\text{Final Value}}{\text{Initial Value}} \right)^{\frac{1}{n}} - 1 \right] \times 100CAGR=[(Initial ValueFinal Value)n1−1]×100
CAGR=[(549.2180.4)14−1]×100≈[(3.04)0.25−1]×100≈32.0%\text{CAGR} = \left[ \left( \frac{549.2}{180.4} \right)^{\frac{1}{4}} - 1 \right] \times 100 \approx \left[ (3.04)^{0.25} - 1 \right] \times 100 \approx \mathbf{32.0\%}CAGR=[(180.4549.2)41−1]×100≈[(3.04)0.25−1]×100≈32.0%
Doing it manually:
We calculate the percentage increase for each year relative to the previous year:
Calculate the Average:
Average=47.8+28.0+16.4+38.24=130.44=32.6%\text{Average} = \frac{47.8 + 28.0 + 16.4 + 38.2}{4} = \frac{130.4}{4} = \mathbf{32.6\%}Average=447.8+28.0+16.4+38.2=4130.4=32.6%
yes its actually the 2nd one
thank you so much!
