I attempted a DILR set today and took around 5 minutes for it.
I have some questions regarding DILR -
- Since there is no fixed syllabus of IPMAT, historically speaking, how many marks (or no. of questions) does DILR encompass within the MCQ section? A range is fine.
- Just a clarification: DILR only comes in the MCQ section, and not the SA section, correct?
- How much time is considered to be ideal to spend on a DILR set?
- What is the thumb rule in identifying whether you're scoring well or not (like we have one in English sectionals i.e. 4 x easy + 2.5 x medium + 2 x hard)
- What are the common types of DILR sets? (I'm a non-maths student, so forgive me if i sound stupid or naive)
- In the videos section, Afteboards hasn't uploaded any DILR related videos yet, right? I just wanna know if they are there within other sections, since I haven't completed all videos. Also if they aren't there, can we expect some anytime soon?

So, DILR is a good 20 mark every year, yeah?
And 5-6 minutes for easy and 7-8 for medium - got it.
Sometimes they purposefully make the dilr set tough (as in time taking and eventually u cant even solve it, time diya but 0 fayda)like in 2021 and the other questions easy to trick the students as they usually first jump to dilr set. You have to judge the dilr set on your own and then proceed with it. Its not always a "good 20marks". If the dilr set is easy in your year, well you hit the jackpot!
