Question doubt
I did by adding the place values and found for only second the addition was odd, but the afterboards solution is completely different, so was my logic correct or co incidence?

Your logic makes sense, but it can be a coincidence. With four options, there's roughly a 50% chance that one option's sum has a different odd/even parity from the other three, even when that's not the intended pattern.
So, this method can sometimes lead you to the wrong answer. Try looking at letter positions and the gaps between them or any other proper pattern first. :)
