Make sure you create clean tables, it makes a hugeeee difference. DILR is A LOT about organising data correctly and ensuring that you have space to update it with new information as you read thru the passage.

Hey! It's not too much. Think of it this way: ~1.5 mins on every question. Which is a great per question time if you look at it from the point of view of the actual exam. IPMAT doesn't require you to solve all the questions so if you solve the DI in 8 mins (will not always be the case, if it's too hard, you might skip the DI), you have enough time to solve at least 5-6 questions. This puts you at a strong position.
Do keep in mind that often times it can take longer to solve a DILR so for your sectional/mock strategy, keep solving DILR for the middle/end of the exam.
