At 12 PM, my clock was 5 minutes behind the right time but at 7 PM on the same
day, it was 9 minutes ahead. At what time the clock was showing right time?
I'm getting the answer as 2:35 pm, but the given answer is 2:30 pm. Could someone please confirm

At 12:00 PM (true time), the clock is 5 minutes slow → error = −5 min.
At 7:00 PM (true time), it’s 9 minutes fast → error = +9 min.
So, a total of 14 minutes has been gained over the course of 7 hours.
Hence, 2 minutes are gained every hour.
12:00 PM = -5 min
1:00 PM = -3 min
2:00 PM = -1 min
2:30 PM = 0 min
3:00 PM = +1 mim
4:00 PM = +3 min
5:00 PM = +5 min
6:00 PM = +7 min
7:00 PM = +9 min
