I wrote north on when I started out on the page and wrote right and left. Then I tilted the page and wrote down right and left to avoid confusion but apparantly I still got the directions wrong.

If they r facing south, your left is their right. Your right is their left. Making them face north, solving, then flipping the page and flipping the left-right has it all messed up -> it would still be fine if you flipped the page but not the left-right axis to adjust for the fact that having them face south now changes the orientation of the ends, not the relative order of the chairs. Solving as north gives the correct sequence, you simply need to relabel the "left end" as the "right end" in your final answer. Physically flipping the page is what caused the disorientation.
Ik its difficult to understand, I took time to understand what exactly you messed up but for DILR you should never try to use shortcut hacks like flipping the page when you notice you have made such a fundamental error like missing the direction they r facing, there are many other variables u then have to modify and its highy likely that you miss one. Do it from scratch the correct way.
