Technically, yes.
But, they asked which of the following is - P is the grandson of R
Option 3 means - R is the grandfather of P
(possibility of P not being a grandson, but a granddaughter, exists...)
Even if you ignore that possibility, the relation they asked for is 'P is the grandson of R' , and not the other way round.
