Ive been quite inconsistent with my ipmat prep due to board exams coming up and I dont remember the concepts which i studied previously, im worried that starting off late after boards will not benefit me much since i require time to grasp the concepts. Im confident about my boards so Im willing to dedicate time for ipmat, but Im unsure of where to start from and how im supposed to plan for it effectively. Any guidance would be helpful.

Start by determining the numbers of productive hours you can dedicate to studying in a day let's say you can dedicate 10 hours (now divide that into boards and ipmat ) let's say you divide in 6 and 4 , 6 hour to Ipmat and four towards board ( given that you are doing well in boards) so further these 6 hours are to be divided into va and qa but you have to make a call on how well versed are you with each one of them, let's say you divide it in 3-3 format now qa can be exhaustively divided into 5 or 6 topics at maxic (algebra number system geometry etc)
Now for each topic you have further sub topics (like in arithmetic you have time speed distance ,time and work, profit and loss and etc) then start by covering each of these, the question now is the resource, you can either cover from a coaching if you are enrolled in any or from YouTube, from YouTube you will find a link of resources attached below or you can check the post I created for free resources, after covering from YouTube to check afterboards capsules for short tricks , now after that you need to attempt questions, you can attempt topic test on Afterboards, Arun Sharma, material from coachings. Keep covering others sub topics this way, soon one full topic of yours ( like arithmetic ) , keep on covering topics like this, start giving mocks when you are done with 60% to 70% of the syllabus.
