You may perhaps not like the answer but the reality is that practice is the only full-proof solution to reduce your solving-time.
With practice, you start realising patterns, you stop solving the entire quadratic equation, you start "seeing" the roots, you split the terms and you directly arrive to the values of x. You get to plug it in while your competition is still writing unnecessary steps (necessary during practice though, everyone needs to have a solid base).
With experience, you start realising heuristics -- these are the tricks that you come up with which make your life faster. For example, the PIPI method that we have taught in the AfterBoards Video Lectures. These things then become part of your arsenal while trying to solve competitive exams!
So where do you suggest practicing questions from? I believe that practicing a lot of questions of same topic would help. But find Arun Sharma level 1 to be a lot as I am equally focused on Indore and boards.
Also, LoD-1 is the bare minimum, no one is asking you to sit and solve all 150 questions -- we're asking you to be in a position where you would be able to solve any kind of question of that difficulty. LoD-2 is MANDATORY.
Got it got it 😂
