Hi! I am a 2027 aspirant. Needed some advice- I was a bit skeptical on giving a sectional for QA as I have not covered a few topics in modern math and topics such as logarithms which constitute a big part of the paper (rest mostly is done).
I also do not want to give the sectional unprepared and tank the score.
It's one thing to not know a specific question but you feel helpless when you are unaware of a whole topic. Do you still suggest I give a sectional right now or cover all topics and go for it?

If you've done more than 50% of it, go forward with writing the sectional.
Don't worry about it. Know that question picking is the key, don't get stuck in one question. Easy questions are worth 4 marks, hard questions are also worth 4 marks (it's not school where simple questions are 1 mark and lengthy questions are 5 marks).
All the best! Plus, sectionals are unlimited, don't worry about "rationing" your resources.
If you don't know the topic, skip that question. No worries, do everything else first and get used to the mock exam environment.
Thank you!
