Stuck!!!!
Help me choose Modern Math or Algebra or Both? How to navigate my prep next 25days? My scores in SA are around 16-20,MCQ 30-31( with DILR) and 20(WITHOUT DILR), VA fluctuates a lot! 80-110 i nrmly attempt 30qs . I’ve already done Arithmetic with two revisions and know basics of PnC, logs, and set theory, while I’ve also studied Algebra topics like linear equations, quadratics, inequalities, and surds before, so they’re familiar but need revision. However, I’ve forgotten parts of number system, probability and matrices( I had them in 12th-last yr) , and haven’t done topics like binomial and modulus at all. Because of this mix of strengths, weak areas, and new topics, it feels overwhelming to decide what to prioritize.

Don’t choose between Modern Math and Algebra; you need both, but in a smart way. Algebra should be your base right now because you’ve already done it before, so a quick revision + practice will give you fast returns and improve accuracy. Modern Math should be selective; focus on logs, basic PnC, set theory, and binomial, these are high-yield and relatively manageable in 25 days. Don’t get stuck trying to complete topics like probability now, that’s low ROI. Your real issue is converting attempts to marks, especially in SA, so alongside this, keep practicing SA daily and focus on reducing silly mistakes. VA fluctuations are normal, just maintain daily practice and don’t let it affect your confidence. Basically, use Algebra for consistency and Modern Math for extra scoring, that combo will push your score up way more than trying to master everything.
