combine inequalities by taking the strongest (most restrictive) bounds

lower bounds:

P > 9 and P > 25 ⇒ take the stricter one ⇒ P > 25

upper bound:

P < 29

so final range:

25 < P < 29

rule:

  • for multiple “>” → take the largest value
  • for multiple “<” → take the smallest value
  • then combine them to form the interval
