Can't we do this from Vieta's formula, multiply the roots 5 at a time?

They asked x^2 coefficient , so you have to take sum of products of all possible pairs of x coefficients taken 2 at a time

How do you decipher that?

I mean if x cube hota toh sum of roots taken 3 at a time hota?

There is a formula for that

[(Sum of all numbers)^2-(Sum of squares of all the numbere)]/2

arey if an equation "ax ± by ± c = 0" has two roots alpha and beta, then:

  1. alpha + beta will be [-b/a]
  2. alpha × beta will be [c/a]
