Remember the condition for lines being parallel. a1/a2 = b1/b2. which in this case would be 3(a-2)/(a+2) = 2/3. you can cross-multiply and the answer comes out to be 22/7

Any shortcut to solve this?
two rules to remember:
**lines are parellel when their slopes are equal.
formula for slope for line ax+by+c=0 is given by -a/b**
so find the slope using the shortcut, equate them and you are good to go :)
