Gamma functions
Does anyone know about Gamma functions? How do you find (1/2)! I found this interesting and wanted to know just out of curiosity; if anyone knows this kindly let me know! Ps: (1/2)! = (√π)/2

Well yes that is interesting , we use gamma functions to find factorial values for fractions !

It is a way of extending the domain of the factorial function from all whole numbers to real numbers. The derivation for the same involves Laplace Transformations which you will study formally in a differential equations course (Indore and Ranchi both have it as a core course).
