In this question, when the boat stops for 30 minutes, won’t it drift backward due to the river current while stationary? And won’t it then take an additional 15 minutes to cover that distance again?

It seems a little ambiguous, but the question states that the boat waits "at the bridge" for 30 minutes; implying that the boat is rowing at 5kmph to negate the drift. But yes, the question should have more clearly stated that point.
