REPOSTED:ARUN SHARMA LOD2
(Done with LOD 1) I have been trying to solve lod 2 of arun sharma QA but I always stuck over questions and end up spending almost an hr over the initial 5 questions(that too at the end left unsolved). I have planned a lot many times ki from now onwards I will be regular with LOD 2 as I have been with the LOD1 (this is the 4th time) but it just demotivates me at every point of time scrolling through the phone for finding the most easiest explanation(albeit I never find one).It just makes me feel that I am wasting my time and I should switch to some other subject. Though I am able to score around 45+(only SA) in mocks/sectionals I am aware that there is something that IS yet to do.

Are you perhaps trying to find a shortcut? I would recommend you to sit and get comfortable with the first principles involved in mathematics. Without that, your conceptual clarity will not develop!
If LoD-2 is this hard, I'd recommend to study the chapter once more such that you're pausing when questions are being solved and trying it on your own!
What level of topic tests are you currently able to solve on AfterBoards? Are you able to understand the solutions?
though i have not yet started with topic tests for QA, i have attempted a few of them
level 1 and 2 - easy for me
level 3 - moderate
level 4 hard
I want you to sit with LoD-2 questions without fail and learn without trying to find shortcuts. I want you to use your conceptual knowledge base to solve those!
for 90 percent of the questions - yes I am able to comprehend the solution. Yes bhaiya, I always try to give my best while solving these questions but taking almost 30min over a single ques is what pushes me backwards
The 30 minutes being invested in part of your studying so that it helps you solve ALL similar questions! Don't think of it as "1 question = 30 minutes", think of it as "patching the knowledge gaps in my head about this subtopic" which is necessary to clear the cutoff.
ooohhhh ...I never thought of that . Thank you bhaiya ..thanks a lot!
