Weekly Mock | IIMB UGAT Sample Paper
1. VA:- 32/45 VA was decent. Looking at the results 40 is Mean + SD, I guess that would be the safe zone. Could have been more if I attempted all the question. Didn't attempted question 2, not good with idioms. In question 5 I overthought and changed my answer. I did not know the synonym of austere. In the last question I was way too confused to mark an answer, though I did mark the correct option initially I ended up not attempting it (The marking scheme is +3 -1 so no need to over-attempt.)
- LR:- 9/45 LR didn't go well. I did not have any practice of many of the question types. I tried to attempt the English Odd one Out and analogy question but I did not know where to start, I clearly do not have any concept of these topic and they don't seem too difficulty. I believe it would be wise to invest the rest of the week in this topic. LR could easily have been , Mean+SD is 33. I got one question wrong in the venn graph one because of a silly mistake! Similarly got the blood relation question wrong due to silly mistake again. Could've been 17 without those silly mistake, but I guess unfamiliarity induced silly mistakes.
- QA:- 33/90. Mean + SD is 45. I have to confess that I may have had extra time, by mistake I rereshed the page this apparently resets the timer. The paper was filled with time consuming questions. The DI set was very easy, but calculation heavy and time consuming. Solved every DI question save for one, where I still am confused. In question 5, I made an oversight and got the answer wrong! Again one silly mistake in Modulus and mean question. I don't even know where to start the improvement, but I've come to the conclusion that I should not spend time on calculus or any new topics except Trigonometry, I already have a foundation of it and it won't take that much time to complete it comprehensively to the +2 level. Maybe I won't do inverse trigonometry, but at least enough to be comfortable with it.
Overall I need to put an emphasis on LR,I mean +20 in LR would put me in 90ish range which seems decent score.
