Since IIM Ranchi has 5% for gender diversity, what is the average no of girls and boys out of 60 every year in ipm batch there, saw some people say that its almost a full girl's college, so wanted to know if this is a misconception or a fact?
I have heard that iim ranchi is really good if you have co-curriculars( entrepreneurship mainly)as your focus since it helps u in that. Well what if people not as eloquent in speaking and as creative/skill-filled/ not interested in entrepreneurship, just a student who wants to experience and learn from the unique ipm curriculum and land up in a decent job, is iim ranchi good for them too?
Does iim ranchi PI focus on ecas(found people saying that indore asks people acads while ranchi loves ppl with amazing ecas like bhavesh bhaiya

We've seen an increase in the number of girls in the newer batch. In 2021-26 (my batch), we had a 1:1 ratio. In 2025-30 batch, it is closer to 2:1 in favour of girls. They should revisit the percentage for sure.
Students of IIM Ranchi are multi-talented and more vocal online due to our liberal media policies. It also has one of the lowest academic load compared to other IIMs, allowing them for more time to pursue their interests (however, the academic load has increased now). Not everyone who joins is top-notch from day 0, your growth and learning happens in college. People land in amazing jobs.
No, this is not the case in 2025 or 2026. It was the case in 2021/22.
