I've seen the syllabus for SA and QA, what do you think is the difference in syllabus. Do I just treat both of them as "math" section.

Well there is a reason why it's different right? Is it not how it works???
SA requires you to type the whole-number answer whereas MCQ is choosing between 4 options.
No negative marks in SA.
No difference in question models and difficultly rating of questions?
Nothing consistent. Some years it has been easy, some years it has been hard!

Also, the interview call rate mentioned in IPMAT cutoff data ( IIM Indore ) are people who converted IIM Indore right
The 2.5% (300 students out of the ~12000 general category students) is the number of people who got an interview call.
Out of them, ~70 students got the offer letter.
