QA QUESTION SELECTION
How to develop the ability to judge whether we should do a specific ques or not because many a times i feel like i will be able to make it but end up ruining a +4 with time cuz of a minor error . Also at times I give a lot of time to ques (around 3-3.5 min) hoping i will be able to solve it by investing a min further but it takes me to a situation even worse than before.??

Try ABC approach whenever you start SA/MCQ section.
Take your rough sheet and divide into 3 columns - A, B & C and start noting down the question numbers.
The ABC approach divides questions into three categories:
A - Abhi karo -> These are questions you can solve quickly and confidently with minimal effort, less time and high accuracy.
B - Baad me karo -> These are questions that are solvable but time-consuming or require more effort.
C - Chhod do -> These are questions you should skip entirely or try solving once A & B part questions are done.
Under this too, you have to note the question numbers according to the time you'll take to solve. As in if you can solve a question in 30 seconds and the other in 40 seconds, write the first question(number) above the second one and so on.
Also, spend at max 10-15 seconds in reading and marking a question.
And don't stick to a question for too long, if you feel like you can solve a particular question but it is taking much time (> 2mins), mark the solution or make a box around it with question number and move on to another question....in this way, if you have time and come back to this question, you will already have the solution till where you solved so some time can be saved.
i tried it but i noticed that my scores were way higher before .....i had marked a few questions that i could actually solve in a minute in the B and C section and a few harder ones in B section
You'll become better with practice.
Then, this becomes an error in gauging the question. How were you doing it earlier exactly?
I simply skipped the ques which i felt as time consuming or hard and solved the medium and easy ones....also i used the ques that were hard but i was familiar with them.
That is exactly what we do in ABC method too. You were following that inadvertently then, ahah. What exactly did you change?
