Todays rc made me realise something

So the RC stated that older siblings are more likely to be conservative and authoritarian and younger siblings are more likely to turn out rebellious and that make so much sense why orthodox Indian society would pass down their property/legacy to their first born sons .

Because their first born were more likely to be like them (conservative ) and the son part is just patriarchy , and the younger siblings would've/could've invoked change.

Indian parents are straight up xenophobic.

do you even know what xenophobia is? that is quite an extreme term you have used

You're telling me you've never seen any Indian parent chastising someone doing something they don't approve of? I've been called brain-washed by uncles and aunties for choosing commerce over science. So yeah, ik what xenophobia is, and no, I would not call it extreme.

Xenophobia is a fear or hatred of foreign people and cultures. I have seen Indian parents glazing IITs and IIMs so that their child could live outside the country. In contrast to your original statement, you utterly claimed that Indian parents reject foreign culture or hate foreigners as if we dont glaze them online.

Xenophobia is not limited to hatred of foreign people and cultures. It can be attributed to a fear or dislike of anything unfamiliar. Words can be used in contexts beyond the literal textbook definitions.

And I did not "utterly claim" anything remotely germane to what you said.

This has nothing to do with foreign cultures whatsoever. This has to do with the dislike that indian parents display towards anything unfamiliar.
